everything you'll need to know will be posted here. those would be the rules, the plot, the canons, the subplots, as well as occassional news and updates. the monthly activity check will be found in the news and updates board, too. please read the rules before anything else, and check on up on this board every now and then, as you can never tell when new posts may spring up on you.

this is your first stop after reading the rules and joining. this is where you make your character! we have a nifty application template that you'd need to use, but other than that, the process is fairly easy. just fill out the specific information, post a decent sized picture and wait to be evaluated. evaluations don't take that long, although we do ask that you be patient.

whether you're accepted or denied, this is where all applications that have been reviewed will be put. don't take offense if you are denied. review what you did wrong and feel free to apply again. but, if you've been accepted, congratulations! you've met our expectations and can roleplay. don't forget the claims!

the infamous claiming grounds. if you were smart, you should head here first to see the taken celebrities, and maybe even reserve them. then, after you're accepted, you come here to claim every thing from your play-by to phone number.

all dead threads will be moved here. dead means that a reply hasn't been posted in over a month. that includes finished threads as well. periodically, a staff member will move multiple threads here at a time. if you want a thread revised, pm a staff member and we'll be happy to review it for you. but other than that, this is merely a place to look over past posts.

most of us have multiple characters, and sometimes, it's hard for other members to look up specific posts, or details about them. which is why we have the character tracker. you can post up your character's need to knows as well as links to plot pages and biographies.

we probably all know what they are. they're those nifty thread things with colors and relationship suggestions. here, you can post your own and post in others, as well. look for friends, loves, and enemies here for your character. bear in mind that not everyone will like your character, and enemies are a good thing. without them, there'd be less drama and more mary sue's.

whether you are looking for a specific character to fill in a plot, a plot itself, or just someone to roleplay with, you can come here to find all those. just post an ad explaining what you want, and wait for someone to reply. we're sure there are bound to be at least a few in search of someone to roleplay with. canon character can discuss their plots further here, as well.

no one can figure out who she is, or how she knows the things she does, but one thing is for certain. she's got everyone's secrets, and she's just waiting to pounce.

do you have any tips for gossip girl, or any latest news that you think needs to be shared? or do you just want to post your own bit of gossip for everyone to see. it's up to you.

there are a lot of those these days- a place to post up recent pictures of yourselves, as well as write about me's and who i want to meet's. personal online websites make it easier and more enjoyable to meet new people, as well as communicate with the people you know. there are two that are most popular these days- facebook and myspace, both are a great way to ease boredom.

everyone gets bored every once in a while. theres just not enough to do in a small town such as this. which is why they invented the instant messenger. well, they invented it for other reasons as well, but if you're a silverpoint resident, it does come in handy. talk to people you know, or random people in an open chat room!

texting is probably the quickest way to communicate. everyone these days have cellphones. the old, the young, the teens. no one would want to be caught alive without a cellphone. they're also handy when you're bored. pick a ringtone, and play it over and over again until your ears go numb, or take countless pictures of your friends and yourself.

taking pictures is the easiest way to capture memories, and photo albums are the best way to preserve them. post your photos here, be it sad, happy, funny, or boring.

people keep journals to rant, vent their feelings, and jot down things for evidence in the future. journals can take so much weight off your head, especially when dealing with a rough relationship, mid terms, or just everyday drama.

silverpoint high school is the only high school within miles of the town, therefore, most of the resident's teenagers go here. it's not that shabby, really. one large school building, fully equiped with a pool, a gym, a cafeteria, an auditorium- like every other high school in the county. the staff are pretty friendly, as well. if you get on their good side, of course.

silverpoint really is bigger than what it's described to be. silverpoint university, although not known to many, is pretty popular. the campus is beautiful. standing on eight acres of land, the college is bigger than the town itself. there are dorms for the outside students, but most of the students who live around town just go home after class.

although silverpoint isn't that big of a town, there are quite a lot of houses. not only houses but condos, apartments, duplexes- you name it. after all, we all need a place to stay for the night. but then again, sleep overs and slumber parties are pretty cool, too.

a popular coffee shop that doubles as an internet cafe, with wireless access for laptops. a pretty popular place with the college kids, but not so much for the high schoolers. offers various caffeine. quaintly small, and oddly quiet this place is the perfect place to relax.

dance club for adults. but that doesn't mean that a fake id won't do the trick. just be ready for all that you will see inside. its the best place to let loose and have a beer. and get those teenage hormones in gear. but don't get too out of control, we can't let those silly parents hear!

sure, the 'cini' may be quite old - practically as old as the town itself - but it still gives everyone here great movies. sure, they maybe be movies that everyone else in the city has seen months before, but the silverpoint kids still come here to enjoy themselves. this is the place where you can practically do anything, since there isn't much anyone will do about it.

probably the newest thing in town, and even this place isn't sparkly new. situated on skywalk avenue, skywalk mall is one of the biggest buildings in silverpoint. it has all the fashionable stores, and some others that no one but silverpoint residents knows of. almost their own name brands. everything is in this mall.

the center of all activity here in silverpoint, the park is located in the middle of the town, and is where everyone goes after a long day. there's many things to do in here, for all ages. this is a huge park with lots to do, and a great way to spend a saturday afternoon. great place for romantic picnics and dates.

probably one of the cleanest lakes in all of connecticut, 'fairytale' lake is a lake where many teens and young adults come to for dares or swimming, although many adults don't approve. some kids say that it's magical. but that's absurd.

For out of character topics that don't fit in any other board, you can post it here, such as rants, random thoughts, introductions, and what not. Be sure you don't spam here, as you aren't allowed to in any board on this forum.

let's just admit it and get it over with. no matter how hard we deny it, we all know one game or another. it's one of the side line benefits roleplaying gives us. post them here and share them with other members. they can be really fun, once you get into it.
